Overview
The Gymkee Referral Program lets you earn free months of your Gymkee subscription by inviting other coaches to try Gymkee. For every coach you refer who signs up and converts to a paid plan, you receive one free month applied automatically as a credit to your account.
The coach you refer also benefits: they get the standard 14-day free trial, plus one free month of Gymkee after they subscribe.
It's a win-win: you save money on your subscription, and your fellow coaches discover Gymkee.
Who It's For
The referral program is available to all coaches who have an active Gymkee subscription (including trial). If you know other personal trainers, fitness coaches, or gym owners who could benefit from Gymkee, you can refer them and earn rewards.
How It Works
Step 1: Open the Referral Dashboard
Go to Referral in your Gymkee sidebar. The first time you visit, Gymkee automatically generates your unique referral code and link.
Your referral link looks like: https://app.gymkee.io/invite/your-code
Step 2: Share Your Link
You can share your referral link in three ways:
WhatsApp — Opens WhatsApp with a pre-written message containing your link
Email — Opens your email client with a ready-to-send invitation
Copy link — Copies your referral link to share anywhere you want
Step 3: Your Friend Signs Up
When a coach clicks your referral link, they land on a personalized invitation page that shows your name and explains the offer. From there, they can sign up for Gymkee with a 14-day free trial.
Step 4: You Earn Your Reward
When the coach you referred finishes their trial and converts to a paid subscription, you automatically receive one free month as a credit on your Gymkee account. No action needed on your part — the credit is applied to your next billing cycle.
What You Earn
For each coach who signs up through your link and subscribes to a paid plan:
You (the referrer) get: 1 free month of your Gymkee subscription
The credit is equivalent to one month of your current plan
It's applied automatically as a balance credit — you'll see it on your next invoice
There's no limit to how many coaches you can refer

The coach you invite receives:
14-day free trial of Gymkee (standard trial)
1 free month of Gymkee after they subscribe to a paid plan
Full access to all Gymkee features during the trial

Referral History
Below the stats, you'll see a table with each referral showing:
The referred coach's name
Their current status (trial, free month, subscribed, or churned)
When they started their trial
Your reward status and amount
Referral Statuses Explained
Status | What it means |
Trial | The coach signed up and is in their 14-day free trial |
Free month | The coach subscribed and is in their free month — your reward has been issued |
Subscribed | The coach is now a paying Gymkee subscriber |
Churned | The coach canceled their subscription |
Your free month reward is issued when the referred coach moves from Trial to Free month (i.e., when they subscribe to a paid plan).
Requirements
To use the referral program, you need:
An active Gymkee subscription (or be in your trial period)
If your subscription is canceled, you'll need to reactivate it before you can access the referral dashboard

I don't see the Referral section in my sidebar
Make sure you have an active subscription or trial. If your subscription has been canceled, reactivate it first.
My friend signed up but I didn't get my reward
The reward is issued when your friend converts from trial to a paid subscription. If they're still in their trial, the reward will come once they subscribe. Check the referral dashboard to see their current status.
Where do I see my credit?
The credit is applied automatically to your Stripe balance. You'll see it reflected on your next invoice as a balance credit.

Is there a limit to how many coaches I can refer?
No. You can refer as many coaches as you want and earn a free month for each one who subscribes.
Do I need to be on a specific plan to use the referral program?
No. The referral program is available on all Gymkee plans. You just need an active subscription or trial.
What happens if the coach I referred cancels?
Your reward is already issued when they subscribe, so it won't be taken back if they cancel later.
Can I refer someone who already has a Gymkee account?
The referral program is designed for new coaches signing up for the first time.
How long does my referral link stay active?
Your referral link and code are permanent and don't expire.
When is my credit applied?
