Overview

Gymkee Pay is the built-in payment system that lets you collect payments from your clients directly through Gymkee. It's powered by Stripe Connect, which means you get a professional, secure payment setup without needing to build anything yourself.

With Gymkee Pay, you can send invoices, set up recurring subscriptions, share payment links, and even control access to your coaching content based on payment status. Everything is managed from the Gymkee Pay section in your sidebar.

Who It's For

Gymkee Pay is for coaches who want to:

  • Collect payments without leaving Gymkee

  • Automate recurring billing for their clients

  • Sell their services online with shareable payment links

  • Lock coaching content behind payment (programs, messaging, check-ins)

The Gymkee Pay Sidebar

When you open Gymkee Pay from the sidebar, you'll find these sections:

  • Dashboard : Your revenue overview, stats, and recent activity

  • Transactions : All your payments in one place (succeeded, failed, refunded)

  • Balance : Your available funds and payout history

  • Subscriptions : All active, past due, and canceled subscriptions

  • Invoices : All your invoices (paid, open, overdue)

  • Products : Your service offerings (subscription or one-time products)

  • Payment Links : Shareable links for selling online

  • Discounts : Promo codes and coupons

  • Automated Programs : Sales automation templates

  • Settings : Stripe account, branding, taxes, access rules

Quick Start: From Zero to First Payment

Here's the fastest way to start getting paid:

  1. Go to Gymkee Pay in the sidebar

  2. Click Connect with Stripe and follow the setup process

  3. Complete your Stripe verification (identity, bank account)

  4. Create your first product in Gymkee Pay > Products

  5. Send an invoice or create a subscription for a client

The whole setup takes about 10 minutes. Once Stripe verifies your account, you're ready to collect payments.

Core Features

Invoices

Send one-time invoices to your clients for any amount. Perfect for:

  • Initial consultations or assessments

  • One-off training packages

  • Custom services

You can send invoices to existing clients or to new customers by email. Each invoice includes line items, a due date, and an optional memo.

Subscriptions

Set up recurring billing on a monthly or yearly basis. Ideal for:

  • Ongoing coaching packages

  • Monthly training programs

  • Membership-style access

Subscriptions support trial periods, discounts, automatic or manual payment collection, and flexible duration (forever, until a specific date, or cancel at period end).

Payment Links

Create shareable links that anyone can use to pay. Great for:

  • Selling services on your website or social media

  • Onboarding new clients who aren't on Gymkee yet

  • Running promotions

Payment links are connected to your products and can be shared anywhere.

Products

Products are the foundation of Gymkee Pay. Each product represents a service you sell, with:

  • A name and description

  • Pricing (one-time or subscription with monthly/yearly options)

  • Status (active, archived)

You create products, then use them in invoices, subscriptions, and payment links.

Discounts

Create percentage or fixed-amount discount codes for your clients. Discounts can:

  • Apply once, for a set number of months, or forever

  • Have a maximum number of uses

  • Have an expiration date

  • Apply to specific products or all products

Access Rules

Control what clients can access based on their payment status. You can configure what happens when:

  • A payment fails (keep access, pause, or revoke)

  • A subscription is canceled (access until period end, or immediate revoke)

  • An invoice becomes overdue (lock after X days)

You also set a grace period (up to 90 days) that gives new clients access before their first payment goes through.

Dashboard

Your sales dashboard shows:

  • Revenue overview (today, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or custom range)

  • Cash view vs. recurring view

  • Actions required (failed payments, overdue invoices)

  • Upcoming payments

  • Revenue evolution chart

  • Client quality metrics

  • Recent activity

You can filter by currency if you accept payments in multiple currencies. A sync button keeps your data up to date with Stripe.

Supported Currencies

Gymkee Pay supports: EUR, USD, GBP, CHF, CAD, BRL.

Your default currency is set during Stripe onboarding and matches your country.

Transaction Fees

Gymkee Pay charges a 0.97% platform fee on top of standard Stripe processing fees. Stripe's fees vary by country and card type (typically around 1.5% + fixed fee for European cards).

Tips

  • Create your products first, then use them across invoices, subscriptions, and payment links for consistency.

  • Set up access rules early so new clients automatically get the right access level when they pay (or lose it when they don't).

  • Use the dashboard's "Recurring" mode to track your MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) and subscription health.

  • Apply discounts strategically for promotions or loyalty rewards. You can limit how many times a code can be used.

Common Mistakes

  • Not completing Stripe verification. You need to finish identity verification and add a bank account before you can receive payouts. Go to Gymkee Pay > Settings > General to check your verification status.

  • Forgetting to set access rules. Without access rules, clients who stop paying can still access all your content. Configure your rules in Gymkee Pay > Settings > Access rules.

  • Creating subscriptions without products. You need at least one active subscription product with a Stripe price before you can create a subscription for a client.

FAQ

Q: Do I need a separate Stripe account? No. Gymkee Pay creates a Stripe Connect account for you during setup. You can also connect an existing Stripe account.

Q: When do I get paid? Payouts follow your Stripe schedule (daily, weekly, or monthly). You can check your payout settings in Gymkee Pay > Settings > General.

Q: Can I accept payments in multiple currencies? Yes. Your default currency is set by your country, but clients paying through payment links can pay in their local currency if Stripe supports it.

Q: What happens if a client's payment fails? Gymkee Pay automatically retries failed payments based on your settings (default: 3 retries over 7 days). After all retries are exhausted, the action you configured (pause or revoke access) takes effect.

Q: Can I import existing products from Stripe? Yes. After connecting Stripe, you'll see an option to import existing products, customers, and subscriptions.

Q: Is Gymkee Pay available on all Gymkee plans? Gymkee Pay is available on Pro and Business plans.
