Gymkee offers four plans designed to fit every stage of your coaching business. Whether you're just getting started with your first clients or running a full team with a branded app, there's a plan built for you.

All plans include the core tools you need: a program builder, exercise library, client chat, mobile app for your clients, and direct support. The difference between plans comes down to how many clients you can manage, whether nutrition is included, and how much customization you get.

The Four Plans

Starter (starting at $34/mo)

Built for new coaches who are signing their first clients. Starter gives you everything you need to get going.

Starter is a great starting point. You can upgrade anytime as your business grows.

Pro (starting at $79/mo)

The most popular plan. Pro is designed for coaches who want the full toolkit: fitness, nutrition, on-demand sales, and personalization.

Everything in Starter, plus:

  • Full nutrition suite (meal plans, macros, recipe builder, 100+ recipe library, 5M+ food database, barcode scanning, AI meal identification)

Pro is the sweet spot for most coaches. It covers fitness, nutrition, and sales in one plan.

Business (starting at $149/mo)

For coaches ready to scale. Business removes all limits on clients, content, and sales.

Everything in Pro, plus:

  • Unlimited active clients

  • Unlimited custom exercise videos

  • Unlimited on-demand content

  • Unlimited automated program sales

  • Unlimited video courses

  • Your logo on the mobile app

  • Team management access

  • Up to 3 videos per personalized exercise

Business is built for coaches who have outgrown Pro's limits or want to build a recognizable brand on the mobile app.

Custom (starting at $349/mo, yearly only)

For larger operations that want a fully branded experience. Custom gives you your own app.

Everything in Business, plus:

Free Trial

You get 14 days of free access on Starter, Pro, or Business. No credit card required to start the trial.

During the trial, you have full access to all features of the plan you chose. You can switch plans during the trial at no cost. When the trial ends, you'll be asked to subscribe to continue using Gymkee.

The Custom plan does not include a free trial.

Monthly vs. Yearly Billing

You can choose to pay monthly or yearly.

Monthly billing: Pay each month. Cancel anytime, no commitment. Your subscription renews automatically every month.

Yearly billing: Pay once for the full year and save 2 months. For example, on Pro you pay $790/year instead of $948 (12 months at $79). That's a savings of $158.

The yearly discount works the same way across all plans: you pay for 10 months and get 12. You can switch between monthly and yearly at any time from your subscription settings.

How to Choose the Right Plan

Choose Starter if:

  • You're just getting started as a personal trainer

  • You have 5 clients or fewer

  • You only need fitness programs (no nutrition)

Choose Pro if:

  • You want to offer both fitness and nutrition coaching

  • You have up to 35 clients

  • You want to sell automated programs and on-demand content

  • You want to customize your app's color

Choose Business if:

  • You have more than 35 clients (or plan to)

  • You want unlimited everything

  • You want your logo displayed on the mobile app

  • You need team management features

  • You want priority support

Choose Custom if:

  • You want a fully branded mobile app with your own name and icon

  • You run a larger coaching operation

  • You want personalized onboarding and a dedicated support team

Gymkee Pay

All plans include Gymkee Pay, which lets you accept payments from your clients directly through Gymkee via Stripe.

Gymkee Pay features available on all plans:

The transaction fee is 0.97% on all plans (this is Gymkee's fee, Stripe's own processing fees apply separately).

On-demand automated sales commission varies by plan: Pro pays a higher commission rate, Business pays a reduced rate, and Custom pays the lowest rate.

FAQ

Q: Can I try Gymkee before paying? Yes. You get a 14-day free trial on Starter, Pro, or Business. No credit card required.

Q: Can I change my plan later? Absolutely. You can upgrade or downgrade anytime from your subscription settings. Changes are prorated.

Q: What happens when my trial ends? You'll be prompted to choose a plan and subscribe. If you don't subscribe, you'll lose access to Gymkee until you pick a plan.

Q: Can I switch between monthly and yearly billing? Yes. You can switch at any time. If you switch to yearly, you'll save 2 months.

Q: What if I have more clients than my plan allows? You'll need to upgrade to a plan with a higher client limit. Gymkee won't let you downgrade to a plan that has fewer client slots than your current active client count.

Q: Are there any hidden fees? No. You pay the plan price (plus applicable tax). If you use Gymkee Pay, there's a 0.97% transaction fee on client payments, plus Stripe's standard processing fees.

Q: I'm on a legacy plan (Essential, Standard, Rockstar). What should I do? Legacy plans are no longer available for new users, but your plan stays active. You can continue on it or upgrade to a 2026 plan anytime. If you're on Essential with add-ons, Gymkee may suggest migrating to a newer plan that includes those features natively.

Q: Is the Custom plan available on monthly billing? The Custom plan is yearly only, with a 12 or 24-month commitment. Contact the Gymkee team to get started.
