It's easy to log a meal on Gymkee, on this article, you can see all the steps to log a meal and send it to your coach.
You have 2 options available to you:
Log a meal in a program made by your coach
First, go to the bottom of the home page.
If your trainer sends you a meal plan, this is where you will see the meals you have to eat for the day.
Your meal day will also be summarized as a nutritional goal to see how many calories you have to consume on that day.
You can tap once on the goals to change the view and see how many kcal you have already consumed.
To see your daily food plan or your coach's food advice, you can slide to the left.
To log a specific meal, just click on it to go to the detailed page.
On this page, you will have several information:
The complete information of your food plan of the day
You will be able to have information about the date of the meal, the meal you are filling, and the macros to consume during the day.
Foods to eat
Just below the informationS, you will have the list of the foods to consume in that meal with their macros & grammage for each.
You have the possibility to remove a food by clicking on "Remove".
You also have the possibility to edit the quantity of each food to adapt it to what you really ate.
If you have consumed a food that was not initially intended by your coach, you can add it yourself by clicking on the small "+" button at the bottom right of your screen.
When you add food, you have 3 possibilities:
Add a recipe
If your coach has shared some healthy recipes with you, you can add them directly to your meal by importing them from the recipe database.
Add a food
On Gymkee, you have over 3,000 raw foods and hundreds of thousands of products at your disposal that you can add to your meals.
You can select one or more foods and then add them to your meal by clicking "I have chosen!"
Scan a food
If you can't find the product you're looking for, you can simply scan a food item with your camera and add it to your meal.
To help the community, you can check if the added product corresponds to the nutritional values indicated on it.
⚠️ This screen is not used to indicate the quantity of the product you ate! It just serves to confirm that the product is the right one and that the values are not wrong.
Once you have added the food you have eaten, you just have to click on "Send" and confirm the sending to your coach
Log a meal WITHOUT a meal program
If your trainer didn't share a meal plan with you, you still have the possibility to add what you eat during the day.
To do so, you just have to click on the button on the home page " Consign a meal ".
Then, you just have to give a name to the meal you are recording and click on "Create".
From now on, all you have to do is follow the steps I showed you just above!
