Welcome to your coach’s app — fully dedicated to helping you progress.
In this video, we’ll be your guide!
We’re going to show you everything you can find in the app, and exactly where to find it.
We’ve also put together a few other videos where we walk you through how to complete your workouts properly, how to fill out your check-ins, and how to log your meals inside the app.
You can find all of these videos in our “Help” section — or directly on YouTube.
Alright, let’s start the tour of your app.
The first thing you’ll see when you open the app is your daily agenda.
On this screen, you’ll be able to see what’s on your schedule for today — whether it’s a workout, a meal plan, habits, goals, or even a check-in to complete.
The top section is all about fitness… and when you scroll down, you’ll see the nutrition part.
At the top left, there’s the “Agenda” icon — you can tap it to navigate through the days and see what’s coming up.
⚫️ In black: upcoming workouts.
🔴 In red: missed workouts.
🟢 In green: completed workouts.
On the top right, you’ll see the chat icon.
From here, you can send a message directly to the Gymkee team if you run into any issues or have any questions.
You can also message your coach from this screen — if your coach has messaging enabled.
When you have a workout scheduled for today, you’ll see a few key details:
The name of the workout
The program it’s part of
The phase or periodization it belongs to
You can do a couple of things here:
First, you can tap the workout card — this takes you to the workout preview screen, where you can see all the exercises in your session.
You can browse through the workout and see what your coach has planned, along with notes on the type of workout.
For example, if you have a circuit to do, it’ll be clearly labeled — and you’ll see how the exercises are grouped together.
You can tap on any exercise to open it up and view the sets, weight, and reps you’ll be doing.
On that same page, you’ll also have the option to download your workout to use it offline.
So if you’re training somewhere with poor signal — like a gym basement, in the mountains, or a dead zone — you’ll still be able to do your workout.
Back on the home screen, the second thing you can do is tap the name of your program.
This will give you a full overview of your program — with all the weeks and workouts lined up.
Back on the home screen again — scroll a little further and you’ll see the nutrition section. Same logic.
You can see your meals for the day, and check out your full nutrition plan.
You’ll also see a “Log my meal” button, which lets you quickly record what you’ve eaten.
If you want to learn how to use the Nutrition section properly, we’ve got articles and videos that break it down step-by-step.
If you tap the dumbbell icon in the bottom menu, you’ll land on the Fitness section of the app.
From here, you can access all your fitness programs — whether they’re active, upcoming, or past.
Tap on any of them to see the full breakdown — just like earlier — week by week, with every workout listed.
If you go back and tap “Workouts”, you’ll see a full list of:
Completed workouts
Missed workouts
Upcoming workouts
Tap any workout to review what you did during that session.
If you tap the three little dots at the top right of the screen, you can view the workout summary — or even repeat the workout if you want to do it again.
Back on the previous screen, you’ll also see a section for Exercises.
Here, you can browse all the movements — and check your personal stats for each one to track your progress over time.
In the Nutrition section, it works the same way… except instead of exercises, you’ll find healthy, tasty recipes created by your coach.
If your coach hasn’t added any, don’t worry — they can activate our recipe library so you can access all the meals we’ve prepared for them.
Finally, there’s your Profile — where you can see how many workouts you’ve completed, your progress, your check-ins, and adjust your app settings.
There’s one last section — only visible if your coach has enabled it — called On-Demand.
In this section, you’ll find programs, individual workouts, video classes, and other resources that your coach has made available for you.
If this section isn’t visible, no worries — it just means your coach hasn’t activated it yet.
If your coach does offer On-Demand content, check out our dedicated videos and articles to see how to use it.
To complete this video, we recommend watching the others in the same playlist — especially the one on how to log your workouts properly inside Gymkee.
