Creation of a fitness program for one or more clients

Gymkee's flagship feature is obviously our ultra-optimized sports program creator, which is there to help you save a maximum amount of time while delivering the best possible coaching experience to your clients.

It is very easy to use and in a few minutes you will be a Gymkee master able to create programs quickly. ⚡️

You can start creating a program in two ways:

  • When you log on to Gymkee, directly on the principal page

In the "Fitness" & "Programs" section

All that's left is to click on "Create a new program" to get started.

When you start creating a new program, you will need to configure it very quickly with essential elements.

To create a program, you have to set up :

  • The name of the program.

  • The start date of your program.

  • The duration of your program in number of weeks.

  • The tags if there are any.

  • Indicate if the program should be taken from a template.

Tags allow you to store your different programs by assigning them a specific tag.

Click on "Start" to access our program creator.

When we designed our program creator, we put a lot of energy into simplicity. Make it as simple & smooth as possible to save you as much time as possible.

I'll show you the important things to understand.

  • Program name

The program name can be changed at any time. It is the item at the top left of your screen.

  • Program start & end date

Just below the name of your program, you will find the start date (left) and the end date of your program (right).

When a program has already started, you will not be able to change the start date for security reasons related to your clients' data.

  • Programming days

Just below the dates, you will be able to find the different programming days that you can create.

We have 2 types of displays to allow you to easily create your programs.

You can display the days in D1, D2, D3 format or have directly the days with their precise date by clicking on the switch below the calendar.

  • Exercise library

On Gymkee we offer you more than 400 exercises shot in 4K in the gym with & without equipment to allow you to easily create your own workouts.

You can search for any exercise with the search bar or with our filter system.

By the way, if our exercises are not enough for you, you can add your own exercises to our database which will only be visible to you and your clients.

  • Session dividers

The dividers allow you to better structure your session to make it easier for your clients to understand. You will be able to add your own dividers as well.

Create your first session

To create your first session, simply click on an exercise, hold it down and drag it to the right side.

You will now be able to add more exercises and configure the session you have just created.

To name your session, just click in the area above the exercise and write the name you want to give to this session.

You can leave a session instruction for your clients. They will be able to consult your instructions before starting their session.

You can easily copy the session you just created to paste it to other days in your program that are similar.

You can set up your exercise as you see fit for your clients.

On Gymkee, you also have the possibility of creating supersets, trisets & circuits in several forms (AMRAP, TABATA, EMOM etc...). To find out how to do this, you can read this article:

Once you have created your different exercises, you will be able to complete the other days of the same week.

You can, as mentioned above, paste a session that you have already copied.

Once you have created the sessions for your week, you will be able to duplicate this week on all the others in your program.

There you go, you now know how to create your first sports program on Gymkee and all the elements that make it up.
